One step challenge

Xpert Funding One-Step Challenge & Funded Account Rules

After successfully passing the One-Step Challenge, your account is automatically upgraded to a Funded Account. Below are the rules applicable during both the Challenge and Funded stages.

Profit Target (Challenge Only)

• Requirement: Achieve an 8% profit target using closed positions only; open trades do not count.
• Trade Limit: No single trade may generate more than 70% of the Profit Target.
• Funded Account: Once you transition to a Funded Account, there is no profit target.

Drawdown Limits

• Maximum Drawdown: 5%, trailing your highest account balance. This rule remains active in the Funded Account.
• Daily Drawdown: 3%, calculated from your previous day’s balance. A violation occurs if equity drops below this level due to open trades. This rule continues in the Funded Account.

Time Constraints

Challenge Duration: There is no time limit to complete the Challenge.

Profit Split (Funded Account)

Standard Split: Enjoy a profit split of 85%.

Payouts (Funded Account)

Frequency: Request payouts every 14 days.

Minimum Trading Days

• You must complete at least 3  trading days during the One-Step Challenge.

• On the Funded Account, you must also have 3 trading days before you can request a payout.

Holding Positions

• Policy: All positions must be closed before the market closes on Friday, typically by the end of the New York session (around 21:00–22:00 UTC).

News Trading

• Holding Trades: You may not hold trades during high-impact news events.
• Opening Trades: You cannot open new trades within 5 minutes before or after a high-impact news event.

This is also on the Funded account.

Inactivity Rule

• Policy: If there is no meaningful trading activity for 30 consecutive days, the account becomes inactive. This applies to both Challenge and Funded Accounts.

65% Margin Rule

• Restriction: You may not use more than 65% of your available margin at any given time.

Leverage

Challenge Accounts:

• Forex: 1:100
• Indices: 1:20
• Commodities: 1:20
• Crypto: 1:2

Funded Accounts:

• Forex: 1:50
• Indices: 1:10
• Commodities: 1:10
• Crypto: 1:2
